Sport’s Day 2014
Ms Anderson organises St. Michael’s Sport’s Day every year. She sets up activity areas all around the school and classes move from one area to the next. All the children take part and have a wonderful fun day. See ‘Sport’s Day’ for more information.

Harvest Mass
Towards the end of September the whole school community came together in St. Michael’s Church for our annual Harvest mass. As usual lots of Art Work had been created to decorate the church, and the alter looked lovely. The choir sang sweetly, and all went well. This start-of-year mass is always a memorable occasion.
A Trip to Cavan County Museum in Ballyjamesduff
In the first week in October Fifth and Sixth classes went to Cavan County Museum to see its exhibition on World War 1. The pupils had been studying the War throughout September and thoroughly enjoyed their visit. Most memorable were the visit to the outside trench and the guns! More on the 6th class page.
