2015 Shoebox Appeal
A large number of Shoeboxes were assembled and collected for Ms. Sherlock’s Christmas Shoebox Appeal. Over 50 shoeboxes filled with lots of nice things were brought into the school. Abbotts visit St. Michael’s N.S.
5th Class Science Workshop As part of Science Week Abbotts factory offered to come into St. Michael’s one evening to offer workshops to the pupils of 5th class. Their parents and siblings were invited too. The workshops began at 6.30 p.m. and lasted approximately two hours. A wide variety of experiments were explored.

We are a Catholic school under the patronage of the Most Reverend Bishop Leo O’Reilly, Bishop of Kilmore. We are also a DEIS Band 1 school as designated by the Department of Education and Skills.
There are 252wonderful pupils, boys and girls in classes from Junior Infants to sixth. We encourage our pupils to partake of a variety of activities – musical, dramatic, sporting, artistic, as well as academic.
