It was back to Killinkere GAA Grounds today on Wednesday, October 15th for our Cross Country Team who were participating in the Cavan Primary Schools Cross Country Championships. 🏃🏃‍♀️

Each of our teams ran super races on very heavy ground and against an even bigger number of other competitors than previous years. All of our team members can be super proud of their efforts today as they showed great determination to do their very best for their team and for their school. 👏🏻 👏🏻

We returned home with 1 set of team medals and 1 individual medal which was a fantastic medal haul! But most importantly, we returned as a team who had great fun and gave our absolute best in representing the school.

A very special mention goes to our individual medal winner, Chloe Hessin. Chloe secured her individual medal in the Intermediate Girls race with a stunning run and brilliant finish🥉. 

It was our Intermediate Girls team who stole the show today. The six girls pushed each other all of the way to the finish line and ran to their absolute limits. They secured the silver team medals as a reward for their efforts🥈. Well done girls!! 👏🏻👏🏻

We couldn’t be prouder of all of our teams and medals aside, it was yet another fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable day for everyone involved!
