A huge well done to the school’s Chess Team for competing at the Féile Fichille tournament in Clontibret, Monaghan on Thursday, March 12th.
There were 10 teams at the event who were representing 5 schools. Our team members faced opponents from St. Michael's NS Annyalla, Scoil Mhuire Clontibret and Gaelscoil Lorgan and Scoil Eanna across six rounds.
Everyone played really well and were very respectful to the other players throughout the day.
A special mention goes to Casey and Ariele who were our school’s top point scorers throughout the tournament.
