Deposit Return Scheme (DRS)

Our school is proud to participate in the Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) as part of our ongoing commitment to environmental awareness and sustainability.

By using the DRS bins located on our school grounds, families can return eligible plastic bottles and cans for recycling, helping to reduce waste and protect our environment. Every item collected supports our pupils' learning about sustainability and responsible citizenship.

As seen in our photograph, we made our end-of-year returns through a local retailer recently and all funds raised through this scheme will be added to our school funds which can then be used to purchase additional classroom resources or playground equipment for our pupils. 

We strongly encourage all families to get involved by bringing eligible recyclables to school and helping us continue our journey towards a cleaner, greener future for everyone.
