On Tuesday, November 18th, fifth class attended a science event as part of Science Week. The event took place in Belturbet Railway Centre.
It was a very interesting and fun event. Pupils learned about the solar system along with stars and constellations. They also discovered how stars received their names.
The highlight of the day was when the pupils got to go inside a giant dome provided by Armagh Planetarium. After that, pupils were given the opportunity to use magnets and hold a meteor. Everyone had a fantastic day and it was a great experience for the pupils.
