Our students recently travelled to Shercock Athletics Track for an exciting day of Track and Field competition, and they represented our school brilliantly throughout the event.
We had students competing across a wide range of events including the Senior Mixed Relay, Senior Boys Relay, Senior Girls Relay, Junior Boys Relay, and Junior Girls Relay. We also had strong performances from our middle-distance runners in the Junior Boys, Junior Girls, and Senior Girls categories, along with entries in the 60m sprint and long jump events.
The highlight of the day was an outstanding Gold Medal performance from our Senior Girls Relay team, who stole the show with a fantastic display of teamwork, determination, and speed. A huge congratulations also goes to our Junior Boys Relay team, who earned an excellent Silver Medal after a superb race.
Another incredible moment came in the girls’ 60m sprint, where Leah sprinted to a brilliant Gold Medal finish. Her performance was outstanding and a fantastic achievement.
A special mention must also go to Anna in the long jump and Amy in the 600m event, who both performed exceptionally well and came ever so close to reaching the medal positions.
Well done to all of our athletes for their effort, sportsmanship, and team spirit throughout the day. We are very proud of everyone who represented the school so positively.
