Wet Felting Workshop for Parents/Guardians
We recently hosted a wonderful Wet-Felting Workshop for parents/guardians in the school. It was a lovely opportunity for parents to come together, learn a new craft and spend some creative time in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
During the workshop, participants were introduced to the traditional craft of wet felting and learned how wool fibres can be transformed into colourful felt using water, soap and gentle pressure. Parents created their own unique felt pieces while experimenting with different colours, textures and patterns.
Everyone left with their finished felt artwork beautifully displayed in an embroidery hoop, a lovely keepsake from the morning.
The workshop was a great success and provided a valuable opportunity for parents to connect, share skills and enjoy some creative time together. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event such an enjoyable one and thank you also to our workshop facilitator, Morag Donald.
